MK (short for Michael Knudsen) first started Popbytes back in September of 2003 - while trying to make a website for his design portfolio, the site quickly turned into one of the premiere blog destinations for all things pop culture! He currently lives in Los Angeles (Hollywood) with his boyfriend, Ivan, of almost ten years and their three dogs (Parker, Fidel, Candy), one cat (Mitzi), and an amazon parrot named Max, plus fish! Before taking on LA, MK lived in NYC for almost seven years where he attended Marymount Manhattan for his undergrad work in Communication Arts and received his Masters Degree in Media Studies at The New School. In his spare time, MK enjoys watching lots of trashy television, playing video games and obsessing over both Courtney Love and Tori Amos!

		Jeremy Feist is the world's least likely gay pornstar. He grew up in Montreal with loving parents, three brothers, and a dog named Kahlua. He then dropped out of College to work as a freelance writer and an adult entertainer. In his spare time, he likes to bake, play Super Mario Bros, and silently judge people who wear Ed Hardy. He once defeated thirty ninjas with nothing but a credit card and a ukulele, and has been deemed too hot for international airspace. Also, his feet look weird. Besides writing daily for Popbytes, Jeremy also writes for Pajiba (Scathing reviews for bitchy people!)
		Sean Simpson is the new (and first!) Popbytes intern. He’s currently a student at the University of Alberta, finishing his degree in Psychology and Philosophy - with a focus on social and cultural phenomena. He has a huge love of all things current in the word of news and entertainment. As an intern, he’ll be working behind the scenes, keeping things organized and helping MK with the housekeeping of the ever growing Popbytes!

Nathaniel Rogers is a freelance writer in NYC. He is the film critic for Towleroad and creator of The Film Experience where he obsesses over actresses and Oscars daily. His Oscar coverage has been praised by both Vanity Fair and the New York Times.

Wes Ferguson is a pop culture fanatic, Hollywood lifestyle blogger, fitness freak, gay geek, shopaholic, hot bitch and creator of BETTERby30.net!



• MASHUP OF THE WEEK [with DJ Paul V.]
DJ Paul V. is a true music-lover rennaisance man. Aside from wowing crowds on club dancefloors for almost 30 years, he's done promo for Warner Records, managed bands, some graphic design, hosted his own LA radio mix show, and he's been writing about music for 22 years now, too. If a band or song excites him, his biggest joy is turning people on to them - with a pen and a CD deck. You know him as our mashup man, but his taste in music is broad and very eclectic.
